The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has released its Alternatives Screening Report. You can download the pdf from the CPUC website by clicking here.
Eleven project alternatives as well as a “No Project” alternative will be analyzed by the CPUC as part of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process.
The Citizens for Safe and Reliable Power have reviewed these alternatives and look forward to the CPUC’s further study and analysis that will be forthcoming in the Draft Environmental Impact Report.
A project that will provide reliable and redundant power to the region is critical. The project should also mitigate for any environmental impacts and be affordable for the ratepayers. CSRP looks forward to being an engaged participant in this public process.
To review the regulatory history of the project, you can find more information on the CPUC’s webpage here.
